Koran 60:4

You already have an excellent example in Abraham and those with him, when they said to their people, “We totally dissociate ourselves from you and ˹shun˺ whatever ˹idols˺ you worship besides Allah. We reject you. The enmity and hatred that has arisen between us and you will last until you believe in Allah alone.” The only exception is when Abraham said to his father, “I will seek forgiveness for you,˹” adding, “but˺ I cannot protect you from Allah at all.” ˹The believers prayed,˺ “Our Lord! In You we trust. And to You we ˹always˺ turn. And to You is the final return

Notice the sentence,
The enmity and hatred that has arisen between us and you will last until you believe in Allah alone.”

"Enmity and hatred" between Moslems and infidels is irreconcilable. Either we must submit, or else.

Whereas Christians understand that no one can predict, or influence, the time of Jesus's return, Shia Moslems (Iranians) believe that they can incite the return of the Twelfth Imam, who will rule the earth.

This makes the Twelfth Imam appear to be the anti-Christ.

Given that the Iranian Mullahs firmly believe in their doctrine, then their zeal to obtain nuclear weapons is explained by a plan to use them to cause worldwide chaos, which is necessary for their prophecy.

All other explanations for "why they hate us" are moot. They believe that they are commanded by God to hate us. Like the Kamikazes who believed that Hirohito was a God, there is no hope of communing with them.

Bob, you are of touch, in today’s geopolitics. The Iranian government is not a suicidal government.
You should worry more about Israel as “its greater Israel project” requires weakening Iran, but it failed so far as Mossad/CIA ISIS mercenaries were not able to do regime change in Syria thanks to Russia.

Russia with help of Russia, is also ending the USA’s Unipolar NWO, so the threat to a nuclear war, if you will ww3 engineered by USA or Israel is diminishing as time goes.

The Iranian government is composed of Shiite extremists whose fanaticism is limited only by the laws of physics.
They will stop at nothing to spark the return of the Twelfth Imam.
They believe this requires global chaos.
